Qatari Foreign Ministry spokesperson, Majid al-Ansari, told CNN, "There is a strong likelihood that the medication was delivered to Israeli hostages in the Gaza Strip, but we cannot confirm this due to the lack of communication in the area."
According to al-Ansari, eleven tons of medical supplies were transferred to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, which was responsible for distributing the medicines to their intended recipients.
"The security situation is challenging at the moment. Involving the Red Cross or any other organization in this mission would be extremely difficult," said a Qatari spokesperson.
It's worth noting that NetBlocks, an organization that monitors internet access disruptions worldwide, reported that communications and internet access in the Gaza Strip have been virtually non-existent for the past seven days.
A day earlier, IDF spokesperson Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari was asked whether Israel could ensure that the medicine delivered by Qatar to the Gaza Strip would reach the hostages. He responded negatively to this question.
