Representatives of the Al-Quds Brigades and Abu Hamza, the spokesman for the Al-Quds Brigades of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, are spreading calls for terrorism against Israelis during the month of Ramadan on social media.
Abu Hamza declared the sacred month of Ramadan, beginning this year on March 10, as the "month of terror and intimidation of the occupiers." He also called for "global terror" on the first day of Ramadan.
The Israel Defense Forces, border police, and security services will operate on high alert during Ramadan. At the same time, Israeli authorities plan to ensure access for Muslims to sacred sites throughout this month, including the Temple Mount in the Old City of Jerusalem.
