Major American airline United Airlines has announced its plans to resume direct US flights to Israel starting March 2.
The first two flights on March 2nd and 4th will include a stop in Munich, Germany, to ensure ground handling services are ready to support direct flights.
The airline plans to start daily direct flights on March 6.
Belgian budget airline Brussels Airlines has also announced the resumption of flights to Ben Gurion Airport from Brussels Airport starting March 24.
The airline will operate three flights per week. Other subsidiaries of Lufthansa and Lufthansa itself resumed flights to Israel as early as January.
