Romania to provide wheat to Israel in crisis, exchanging for technology
Israeli Agriculture Minister Avi Dichter and Romanian Emergency Management Director Georgian Pop have signed a letter of intent to enhance food security.
Under the agreement, Israel will share agricultural technology and expertise with Romania, while Romania will reserve wheat supplies for emergencies.
This marks the fourth agreement of its kind signed since the grain market crisis triggered by Russia's attack on Ukraine. Similar agreements were previously signed with Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, and Morocco.
