After Benjamin Netanyahu canceled his participation in a government meeting scheduled for the evening of March 4, rumors began circulating suggesting that his health might be more seriously compromised than previously indicated.
Journalist Ben Caspit reported that despite initial claims of a "mild flu," Netanyahu was actually experiencing a high fever and severe cough, with a risk of developing pneumonia.
Caspit clarified that while he couldn't confirm whether Netanyahu had pneumonia, he did observe Netanyahu leaving his residence in Caesarea at 4:00 PM.
The Prime Minister's Office issued a statement refuting rumors of Netanyahu's "serious illness."
According to the report, Netanyahu is suffering from seasonal flu, which has also affected several members of his office.
Later in the evening, Netanyahu was examined by his personal physician, Dr. Tzvi Berkowitz, who concluded that the patient's condition was good.
