Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, announced during a daily briefing that over the weekend, the IDF expanded its ground operations in the Gaza Strip.
Hagari emphasized that conducting combat operations in the Gaza Strip is exceptionally challenging. However, he stated that each day, numerous terrorists surrender or are killed. Hagari added that the IDF learns valuable lessons from every engagement to minimize risks for Israeli military personnel in subsequent operations.
"We are paying a high price in this war, but a ground operation is necessary to achieve its objectives," emphasized Hagari.
