The IDF reports that militants from the terrorist groups Hamas and Islamic Jihad persist in using school buildings to launch attacks on Israeli military forces.
Specifically, militants were spotted multiple times in the territories of the "Ar-Rafa" and "Zawahah" schools in the Daradja-Tufa area in the northern Gaza Strip. These militants were taken down by fighters from the Nahal Brigade of the 162nd Division.
Later, explosive devices, packed in parcels marked with UNRWA symbols, Kalashnikov rifles, and 15 "suicide belts," were found at the militants' neutralization site.
The Israeli military managed to capture many militants who were interrogated. It was revealed that some of them had participated in the attack on Israel on October 7th.
