On Tuesday, December 26, Israel returned the bodies of 80 Palestinians killed in the conflict to the Gaza Strip. The bodies were delivered to Gaza through the Kerem Shalom crossing point and will be buried in a communal grave in Rafah.
According to Haaretz, the bodies were discovered by Israeli soldiers in the northern Gaza Strip and were brought to Israel to ensure that there were no Israeli hostages among the dead.
