Eighteen servicemembers died due to friendly fire, while two were killed by stray bullets. Nine lost their lives due to various accidents like collisions, collapses, demolitions by IDF, etc.
On the Lebanese border, four servicemembers have died since the beginning of the war, not due to enemy actions.
In total, since the start of the conflict on October 7, 2023, 506 Israeli servicemembers have lost their lives.
