During a joint operation of the IDF, the Shin Bet security service, and Border Police in the Palestinian communities in Judea and Samaria, ten individuals wanted for terrorist activities were arrested on the night of January 1.
A significant amount of weapons and ammunition were discovered and confiscated. Among the detainees were two Hamas activists.
The militants, in possession of weapons, have been handed over for further processing by the Shin Bet security service. There were no casualties among the Israeli forces.
Since the beginning of Operation Swords of Iron, over 2550 wanted terrorists have been arrested in Judea and Samaria, with around 1300 affiliated with Hamas.
