Only 15% of Israelis want Benjamin Netanyahu to remain as Prime Minister
A poll conducted by the Israel Democracy Institute revealed that only 15% of Israelis want Benjamin Netanyahu to remain as the head of the government after the war's conclusion.
Approximately 25% of those surveyed would prefer to see Benny Gantz, the Blue and White political alliance leader, in that position. At the same time, about a third of respondents were undecided.
The poll, conducted by Prof. Tamar Hermann and Dr. Or Anabi, did not offer respondents a list of candidates to choose from but asked an open-ended question about whom they would like to see as prime minister after Operation Swords of Iron concludes.
Among Arab respondents, the majority had no preference: 68% did not name any candidate. Among Jewish respondents, this percentage was 23%.
