The IDF continues operations in Judea and Samaria to prevent new terrorist attacks and to arrest or terminate members of terrorist organizations.
Sources in the Palestinian Authority report that Israeli military forces operated in Hebron, Nablus, Jericho, Qalqilya, Tulkarm, and Nur Shams on the night of January 3. Operations also took place in the village of Ash-Shuyukh, northeast of Hebron.
Al-Jazeera reports that an Israeli drone struck a target in Tulkarm. There are casualties. According to social media posts, militants were killed.
Several terror suspects were detained. However, the exact number has not been confirmed yet.
The IDF has not commented on the events in Judea and Samaria on the night of January 3.
A mass rally of Hamas supporters took place in Arura, north of Ramallah. It is the hometown of Saleh al-Arouri, a Hamas senior leader and its military wing's founding commander, the Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades. He was eliminated on January 2 in Beirut. The IDF did not intervene in this rally.
