Sources in the Palestinian Authority report that Israeli military forces operated in Hebron, Tubas, Beit Furik, and Tammun (near Nablus), Shuweika (near Tulkarm), Al-Bireh, and Beit Rima (near Ramallah) on the night of January 4.
The IDF operation in Nur Shams, east of Tulkarm, continues for the second day.
During the operation in Tammun, as reported by sources in the Palestinian Authority, a "local resident" was shot dead by the military. According to social media posts, the deceased individual was a Hamas militant.
Several suspects involved in terrorism have been detained. Their exact number is being verified.
