The IDF says it has wrapped up its anti-terrorism operation in the West Bank's Nur Shams refugee camp near Tulkarem. The operation lasted 40 hours and involved reservists from the IDF and Border Police under the command of the Menasha Territorial Brigade. The Shin Bet security service and military intelligence also supported it.

Israeli troops meticulously checked building after building, detaining hundreds for questioning and arresting 11 suspects involved in terrorist activities. During the operation, troops also seized many weapons and destroyed hundreds of explosive devices.

Israeli forces managed to evade several traps set by terrorists, including a booby-trapped UNRWA daycare center. Explosive devices were set up around the building, with a car bomb parked nearby. IDF forces deactivated the bombs.

Two bomb-making labs were discovered and destroyed during the operation.

At the start of the operation, a group of terrorists attacking IDF ground forces with explosive devices was identified by drones from the 636th Field Intelligence unit. The fighters were eliminated by a jet.

The IDF reported that two reservists were wounded during the operation in Nur Shams. They were transported to a hospital, and their families were notified of the incident.
