Lieutenant Colonel Avichay Adraee, head of the Arab media division of the IDF Spokesperson's Unit, criticized the speech of Hezbollah's Secretary-General Hassan Nasrallah, in which he claimed that the terrorist organization had carried out 670 "operations" on the Lebanese-Israeli border since the beginning of the conflict.
"You need a Ph.D. in statistics to keep track of all the fake figures and false data that Nasrallah is trying to impose on the Lebanese from his bunker," Adraee said. "This is meant to justify Hezbollah's ongoing destruction of Lebanon, to show unity with ISIS and Hamas, killers of women and children."
On Friday, January 5, Hassan Nasrallah addressed his supporters with another speech, claiming that Hezbollah's actions were "exhausting" the IDF.
In Israel, it is believed that Nasrallah's speech was primarily aimed at the Lebanese audience and is intended to justify the losses suffered by Hezbollah since October 7, 2023.
