Republican Mike Pence, who served as Vice President of the United States in the Donald Trump administration, visited IDF's Northern Command to meet soldiers in field conditions.
In particular, Pence said, "We greatly appreciate what you're doing. I'm speaking not on behalf of the American government, but on behalf of the American people - we support you and will continue to do so."
Pence had a lengthy conversation with the soldiers and even left his autograph on one of the artillery shells.
