On Friday, January 5, Kibbutz Nir Oz reported the death of Tamir Adar, 38, in Gaza. Hamas is holding his body in the Strip.
Tamir is survived by his wife and two children.
On October 7, his grandmother Yaffa Adar was also taken captive by terrorists. She was released during a weeklong ceasefire on November 24, 2023.
