Hamas' underground weapon production complex discovered in Al-Bureij
The IDF reported that soldiers of the 36th Division discovered an underground factory for producing various weapons, including missiles capable of reaching cities in northern Israel, as well as workshops.
Soldiers from the 188th Armored Brigade "Barak" and the 1st Infantry Brigade "Golani" found mines about 30 meters deep in the refugee camp, leading to the discovery of one of the main weapons factories in the Gaza Strip and workshops for producing rockets, explosives, mortar shells, explosive devices, small arms, and unmanned aerial vehicles.
All Hamas production facilities were concealed deep underground, and a network of tunnels facilitated the transportation of weapons across the sector. The IDF reports that dozens of militants were killed in the area.
Additionally, the 188th Armored Brigade seized the command post of the Al-Bureij battalion of the Hamas terrorist organization.
The IDF press service highlights that precise intelligence resulted in significant damage to enemy forces, impacting their ability to produce weapons and replenish ammunition.
