The terrorist organization Islamic Jihad has once again utilized hostage Elad Katzir to exert pressure on the Israeli leadership and society, releasing a video featuring him.
In the video, Katzir stands before an Islamic Jihad flag, speaking in English as he identifies himself: "Elad Katzir, 47, from Kibbutz Nir Oz."
Elad, noting the recent death of his friend Tamir Adar (38 years old, also from Nir Oz), discusses the loss first in English and then switches to Hebrew to reiterate the details of Tamir's death.
Having spent three months in captivity in Gaza, held by Islamic Jihad militants, Katzir directly addresses Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and his government. He emphasizes that only a miracle has kept him alive and calls for an end to the war in Gaza, advocating for a "prisoner exchange."
It's worth noting that this is the second video featuring Elad Katzir published by Islamic Jihad, with the first released on December 19.
