IDF Spokesman, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, announced in a daily briefing that the commander of Hezbollah's air unit in southern Lebanon had been eliminated.

The Israel Defense Forces' press service reported that the Air Force was responsible for eliminating Ali Hussein Barajin. According to intelligence reports, Barajin was responsible for numerous operations involving unmanned vehicles carrying explosives. Specifically, he orchestrated the attack on the headquarters of the Northern District Command, which occurred several hours before his elimination.

The army press service also disclosed that a group of militants from Barajin's unit, en route to the kamikaze drone launch site, was destroyed prior to his elimination.
