Families of hostages invite Knesset leaders to 100-day protest
Families of Israelis abducted by Hamas have invited Israeli President Isaac Herzog, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, Knesset Speaker Amir Ohana, opposition leader Yair Lapid, and members of the "narrow" military cabinet to speak at the mass "100 Days in Captivity" march, starting Saturday evening at Kidnapped Square (Kikar Hatufim) in Tel Aviv.
In the invitation, relatives of the hostages expressed, "Our loved ones are being held captive by Hamas, in an underground hell, in the very heart of Gaza. We invite you to join our march as a sign of solidarity and support for the abducted and their families." President Herzog and Yesh Atid leader Yair Lapid have confirmed their participation.
The solidarity event with the families of the hostages will commence after Shabbat on Saturday, January 13, at 8:00 PM and last for 24 hours until 8:00 PM on Sunday. Numerous notable Israelis, including artists, musicians, public figures, and politicians such as Zehava Ben, Omer Adam, Sarit Hadad, Idan Raichel, and Jasmin Moallem, will participate and speak at the event.
