IDF night strikes in Gaza: targets hit in south and center
On the night of January 13, the IDF continued operations in the Gaza Strip. Information about the ongoing fighting was solely reported from sources within Gaza.
According to these sources, the IDF targeted Khan Yunis in the southern part of the Strip using artillery, tanks, and helicopters.
Reports also indicated artillery attacks near Shuhada Al-Aqsa Hospital in the central sector. Additionally, IDF artillery targeted areas in northern Nuseirat, east of Al-Bureij, and north and east of Al-Maghazi in the central sector.
While there has been a perceived reduction in the intensity of IDF operations in recent days, the IDF has not issued any comments on the Gaza fighting on January 13.
At 2:25 on the night of Saturday, January 13, the "Tzeva Adom" siren sounded in the village of Netiv HaAsara near the northern border of the Gaza Strip, signaling a recorded rocket or mortar attack. No casualties were reported.
It's worth noting that, typically (though not always), during the current conflict, terrorist groups in Gaza refrain from launching rocket attacks on Israeli territory at night.
