The IDF reports that Reserve Petty Officer Andu'alem Kabeda, 21, from Kiryat Gat, a member of the 603rd Engineer Battalion, 7th Sa'ar Mi-Golan Brigade, was killed in combat in the southern Gaza Strip on January 13.
In the same battle, an officer of the 603rd battalion was seriously wounded.
On Saturday evening, it was reported that on January 12, reserve sergeant Dan Weidenbaum, 24, from Raanana, a soldier of the 5037th battalion of the 11th Yiftach brigade, was killed in a battle in the central part of the Gaza Strip.
On the same day, a reserve officer of the 7155th battalion of the 55th Hod HaHanit airborne brigade was seriously wounded in the south of the Gaza Strip.
On January 11, in two separate battles in the center of the Gaza Strip, a reserve soldier of the 646th Shualei Marom Brigade and an officer of the 605th engineer battalion of the 188th Armored Brigade Barak were seriously wounded. The wounded are in hospitals, and their families have been notified of the incident.
From October 31 to January 10, 188 IDF soldiers were killed during the ground operation in Gaza.
