Kfir Bibas, a name familiar to every Israeli since October 7, will celebrate his first birthday on January 18. He has endured three months of his short life in captivity.
To mark this occasion, the residents of Nir-Oz adorned the kindergarten with balloons and presented a cake featuring a photo of a 9-month-old red-haired baby—this depicts Kfir when he, along with his 4-year-old brother Ariel and their mother, was abducted by terrorists and taken to the Gaza Strip.
The Bibas family, along with Israeli celebrities, collaborated on a song that narrates Kfir's story. Werner and Gadi Goldman crafted the lyrics and music for this heartfelt composition.
