The head of the National Security Council, Tzachi Hanegbi, stated at a meeting of the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee that it's not yet time to discuss the future of the Gaza Strip since Hamas has not been defeated.

"We are currently engaged in warfare on eight fronts simultaneously, with Gaza being the primary one," Anegbi emphasized.

He further noted that the conflict in the northern direction could escalate into a war. Explaining further, he said, "The other fronts include Yemen, Syria, Iraq, where Shiite entities are involved in the conflict, Judea and Samaria, global attempts to target Israeli and Jewish interests, and finally, Iran, which influences tensions in other regions."
