IDF spokesman, Rear Admiral Daniel Hagari, held a briefing in which he discussed the army's recent actions in the Gaza Strip, the regrouping of forces, and commented on the situation with the abductees.

Daniel Hagari stated that three divisions are currently participating in the operation in Gaza: one in the north, the second "holding" the corridor connecting the north and south of the sector, and the third, the most numerous, operates in Khan Yunis, where fighting activities have intensified.

Hagari mentioned that in the last 24 hours, there has been fierce fighting with terrorists in Khan Yunis, resulting in losses for the IDF.

The IDF spokesman noted that in Khan Yunis, the military operates not only on the surface of the earth but also underground, searching for and destroying tunnels and tunnel shafts.

"This will take time as we seek to ensure the safety of military personnel and abductees who may be in the area," he said.

With Israelis still held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip, an IDF spokesman mentioned that enormous efforts are being made to gather information about the abductees, and military operations are being adjusted according to the intelligence received. He said that, at the moment, the IDF does not have complete information about the hostages.

Responding to questions about the delivery of medication from Qatar to the Gaza Strip and whether they would reach the hostages, Hagari answered negatively.
