Ben-Gvir urges border police to shoot terrorists unhesitatingly
Minister of National Security Itamar Ben-Gvir visited the base of the "pseudo-Arab" unit of the MAGAV border police and spoke with the officers.
The minister expressed full support for any actions taken by the officers to prevent terrorist attacks.
"If you encounter a threatening situation or spot a terrorist, even if they don't seem immediately dangerous, don't hesitate to shoot. I've got your back," Ben-Gvir stated.
He emphasized, "The entire Israeli people stand behind our fighters."
"A single fighter's safety outweighs a thousand terrorists. I've witnessed your capabilities. You are the backbone of MAGAV," Ben-Gvir affirmed.
The Minister of National Security's office clarified that a media release contained an inaccurate quote from the minister's conversation with the "pseudo-Arab" unit.
"The minister stated that during operations, it's imperative to neutralize armed terrorists before they pose a threat," the report concluded.
