Defense Minister, Yoav Galant, held a meeting to evaluate the situation in northern Israel.
The focus of the discussion was the potential return of residents to their homes.
Galant emphasized Israel's preference for achieving changes through diplomacy to facilitate the return of border strip residents.
However, he also noted ongoing operational measures to prepare for potential military escalation.
"We must be ready for any escalation in the north and prepared to take military action to ensure residents can return home," Galant stated.
