Netanyahu responds 'who says we're not attacking Iran?' at press conference
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu held a press conference at the Kirya on the latest war-related events and also answered questions from journalists.
Netanyahu stated, "Victory will take many more months, but we are determined to win." He added, "While our soldiers risk their lives in Gaza, some claim victory is impossible. I strongly disagree. As long as I lead, Israel will not settle for anything less than victory."
Regarding humanitarian aid to Gaza, Netanyahu said, "We provide minimal aid to prevent epidemics and mass deaths, which would force us to cease fighting."
Netanyahu denied media reports suggesting the IDF and defense minister were unaware of an agreement with Hamas for medical supplies. He showed a document from the Mossad outlining the deal. He also refuted claims he agreed to bypass inspections for Qatari aid to Gaza.
Responding to a question about why Israel is avoiding a direct strike on Iran, Netanyahu said, "About Iran, the question is relevant and the answer is relevant. Who said we aren't attacking Iran?"
