45-Hour anti-terror operation in Tulkarm concluded
The IDF has completed a 45-hour anti-terror operation in Tulkarm. Throughout the operation, Israeli troops conducted searches in approximately 1,000 buildings and uncovered over 400 explosive devices.
The operation involved IDF reservists, fighters from the MAGAV border police, the YASAM anti-terrorist unit, and the Shin Bet General Security Service.
During the operation, hundreds of explosive devices were found, many of which were intended for use against Israeli troops.
Additionally, 37 individuals wanted in connection with terrorist activities were arrested, including some high-ranking militants who played significant roles in the terror infrastructure in Tulkarm.
A group of four terrorists who fired at Israeli soldiers and used explosive devices against them was eliminated during the operation. There are also reports of several more militants being killed.
Unfortunately, an IDF reservist was seriously injured during the operation in Tulkarm.
