On Monday, January 22, a delegation from the IDF and the Ministry of Defense arrived in the United States with the aim of expediting the delivery of a new batch of weapons and ammunition crucial for Israel's ongoing military operations.

As per Kan-11 TV channel, the delegation is led by Eyal Zamir, the Director General of the Ministry of Defense, and Major General Eyal Harel, the head of the Planning Directorate of the General Staff.

According to Kan-11, the delegation is scheduled to hold a series of meetings with representatives from the American military and defense industry to advance discussions on new agreements for the procurement of ammunition and military equipment.

The negotiations will center on acquiring aircraft weapons, tank and artillery shells, armored vehicles, and various other types of weapons and ammunition essential for sustaining operations in the Gaza Strip and, if needed, in Lebanon.
