IDF continues operations in Judea and Samaria on the night of January 22
The IDF continues its operations in Judea and Samaria aimed at preventing new terrorist attacks and detaining or neutralizing activists from terrorist organizations.
Sources in the Palestinian Authority report that on the night of January 22 Israeli military forces operated in Qalqilya and Jericho (in the Ein as-Sultan camp), as well as near Hebron (in Al-Fawwar, Beit Ummar), Bethlehem (in Al-Manshiyya), Nablus (in Beit Iba), and Ramallah (in Beitunia, Kafr Ein).
Border Police operated in Shuafat, on the northern outskirts of Jerusalem. Suspects were detained.
Palestinian militants fired at the Al-Jalama checkpoint north of Jenin. There is no information on injuries among Israeli military personnel. Individuals suspected of terrorism have been detained. The number of detainees is being clarified.
The IDF has not commented on the events in Judea and Samaria that occurred on the night of January 22.
