A vote of no confidence in the government, submitted earlier on Monday by the "HaAvoda" party to the Knesset, was rejected.
Only 18 deputies supported the vote of no confidence, with no votes against; however, the required majority of votes was not obtained.
Earlier, coalition representatives stated that they would not participate in the vote on a motion of no confidence, deeming it unnecessary during the war.
It's worth noting that this is the first motion of no confidence in the government submitted to the Knesset for consideration and voting since the beginning of the War of Iron Swords.
It had no chance of approval, but individuals close to the coalition ministers asserted that it was an irresponsible step, as it is not customary to submit motions of no confidence during a war.
