The fighters of the 646th Shualei Marom Brigade, along with the engineering special forces Yahalom, destroyed a terrorist tunnel in the central part of the Gaza Strip, approximately 1.5 km from the Israeli border, according to the IDF spokesperson. The tunnel ran north to south, connecting terrorist bases, with a length of about 1 km and a depth of 20 meters. Rockets, launchers, warheads, and electronic components for launch control were discovered during the tunnel elimination operation.

Thomas White, the director of the UNRWA (The United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees) in Gaza, stated that on January 24, the IDF shelled an educational center in Khan Yunis. According to White's post on social media, two tank shells hit a building where 800 people live. He claims at least nine people died, and 75 were injured. White mentioned that the UNRWA rescue team could not reach the incident site as Israeli military earthwork blocked the road.
In the Ein Iron, Dovev, and Bar'am villages in Upper Galilee, the Red Color Alert was activated as the early-warning radar system detected rocket launches from Lebanese territory. It was the first "Red Color Alert for the day. Later, the IDF reported that the system had a false activation due to Israeli artillery activity.
