IDF continues operations in Judea and Samaria; Battles in Nablus, Qalqilya, and Jericho on the night of February 4
The Israel Defense Forces continue operations in Judea and Samaria to prevent new terrorist attacks and to detain or neutralize fighters of terrorist organizations.
Sources in the Palestinian Authority report that Israeli military forces operated in Nablus, Beit, Qalqilya, Nabi Ilyas, Hableh, and Jericho (in the Ein as-Sultan camp). Operations were also conducted in Jalazone (north of Ramallah), Anabta (east of Tulkarm), and Arraba (south of Jenin).
It was reported that a suspect was wounded by the military in Arraba.
There were reports that the Border Police were operating in the Shuafat refugee camp north of Jerusalem.
No injuries among Israeli military personnel in Judea and Samaria were reported.
Suspects involved in terrorism were detained. Their exact number is being verified.
