Rabbis of the Rabbanei Torat Haaretz Hatovah (Rabbis of the Torah of the Good Land) organization, representing the national-religious camp, have issued a decree calling for not admitting workers to the territory of Israel who pose a threat to others. Among those who signed the decree are Rabbis Dov Lior, Yaakov Ariel, and Shmuel Eliyahu.

The decree notes that the difference in hiring costs between Jewish and Palestinian workers should be compensated if necessary. The rabbis emphasized that caution should prevail over financial benefits in the case of even a minimal threat to life.

The resolution concludes with a call not to force residents of Judea and Samaria to admit workers who pose a threat. The authors note that settlers equally fulfill civic duties and participate in the war and, therefore, are entitled to an adequate level of personal security.
