Police say a suspect attempted to stab officers in Jerusalem's Old City. The suspect was "neutralized" by the police forces, police say. His condition is not immediately clear.
The Magen David Adom ambulance service says the knife attack took place near the city's Lion's Gate. One man sustained minor wounds to his leg in the incident.
The police spokesperson conveyed that a man who appeared suspicious to border guards pulled out a knife during a document check and attempted to attack them. The guards shot the terrorist before he could strike, thus neutralizing him. A passerby sustained minor leg injuries and was taken to the hospital.
