Soldiers from the Tavor unit thwarted a terrorist attack in the Palestinian village of Husan, located within the jurisdiction of the Etzioni Brigade.
The IDF Spokesperson's Unit reported that the terrorist attempted to stab a soldier responsible for the security of Israeli drivers in the area. The soldiers fired at the terrorist, neutralizing him. Kan Bet radio station also reported that the terrorist was killed.
This attack occurred simultaneously with an attempted terrorist attack in the Old City of Jerusalem. The terrorist with a cold weapon was neutralized there. A random passerby sustained minor shrapnel injuries, apparently during the neutralization of the terrorist.
