On February 13, IDF forces, along with General Security Service (Shin Bet) and Border Police (MAGAV) officers, detained 20 terrorist suspects in Judea and Samaria. The detainees were handed over to Shin Bet investigators for questioning.
During the operation in Jenin, mines planted along the military route were cleared, three wanted terrorists were detained, and weapons were confiscated.
In Qalqiliya, seven individuals wanted by authorities were detained, and weapons were discovered. While conducting the operation, a local militant attempted to ram the military personnel and was shot dead.
Two wanted terrorists were apprehended in Silwad, and cash suspected to be intended for terrorist activities was seized.
Weapons were also found during searches in the village of Huwara in Samaria and the city of Hebron in Judea.
The operation in the village of Al-Ram lasted nine hours, during which dozens of suspects were questioned, eight individuals wanted for terrorist activities were arrested, and weapons and military equipment were confiscated.
There were no casualties on the Israeli side during the operations conducted in Judea and Samaria.
Since the beginning of the war on October 7, 2023, approximately 3,100 terror suspects have been detained in the Palestinian Authority, with over 1,350 of them having ties to the terrorist organization Hamas.
