The IDF continues its ground offensive in the Gaza Strip. Over the past 24 hours, the main combat actions took place in southern Gaza’s Khan Younis, as well as in the central part of the Strip.
Fighters from the 646th Brigade in Khan Younis identified a terrorist armed with an RPG in a residential building. Another operative was then detected in the building. Aviation was used to neutralize them.
In the west of Khan Younis, soldiers of the Commando Brigade discovered tunnel shafts, eliminated gunmen, and found a large amount of weapons and ammunition.
The Air Force neutralized four more militants who set up an ambush.
Fighters from the Nahal Brigade operated in the center of the Gaza sector and eliminated over ten terrorists.
An airstrike killed another two gunmen in the center of the sector.
