A man in his 30s, who sustained severe injuries this morning as a result of a rocket attack from Lebanon, was transported from Ziv Medical Centre in Safed to the Trauma Unit at Rambam Medical Center in Haifa by a military helicopter.
According to Solomon Zarka, the head of Safed’s Ziv Hospital, he was found to have been severely injured by shrapnel that penetrated his skull, necessitating transport to a hospital with a neurosurgery unit.
Based on available photo and video materials, there are members of military personnel among the wounded.
Earlier, Ziv Hospital in Safed reported that after rocket attacks on Safed and other areas of the Upper Galilee, eight injured people were brought to the medical facility. One of the wounded was in critical condition, one in moderate condition, and six suffered minor injuries.
This information contradicts earlier data released by the Magen David Adom emergency service, which reported seven wounded individuals, three of whom were in moderate condition.
As a result of the rocket attack in Safed, a woman is confirmed to be killed.
