Nukhba commander responsible for Nova hostage abductions killed in Gaza

The leader of Hamas's Nukhba unit, responsible for the hostage abductions at the Nova music festival, has been killed. Correspondent Itay Blumental provided details during the evening news on Kan-11 TV.

Correspondent Itay Blumenthal reported this during the evening news broadcast on TV channel Kan-11.

This operation became possible due to recent intelligence.

Interrogations of Nukhba militants captured in the Gaza Strip by Shin Bet investigators, along with data obtained by the 504th Military Intelligence Unit (AMAN), helped identify the commander responsible for the militants' actions in the area where the music festival was held.

On Wednesday, February 14, Israeli intelligence received information that the wanted Nukhba commander was traveling through Gaza City in his car.

The IDF Air Force targeted the vehicle with an airstrike, eliminating the militant.
