The IDF says one of the most influential commanders of Hezbollah's elite Radwan Force, Ali Muhammad al-Debes, was eliminated in Lebanon along with his deputy Hassan Ibrahim Issa.
According to the IDF, Ali Muhammad al-Debes was one of the masterminds behind the bombing attack at Megiddo Junction in northern Israel in March 2023. He planned and orchestrated many attacks against Israel, especially amid the ongoing war.
Ali Muhammad al-Debes and his associates were eliminated when Israeli fighter jets struck a building used by Hezbollah in Nabatieh.
The IDF says it also struck several Hezbollah positions in the last few hours, in south Lebanon's Blida and Maroun al-Ras.
