IDF operation at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, terror suspects detained

The IDF command confirms that the Israeli military is conducting an operation today, February 15, at Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis, located in the southern Gaza Strip. Several terrorist suspects have been detained.

In a statement, the IDF press office said: "The operation is based on intelligence indicating Hamas terrorist activity within the hospital premises. The aim is to identify terrorist militants, including those suspected of involvement in the October 7 massacre. Several suspects are currently detained in the hospital."

The operation began with the evacuation of patients and hospital staff to minimize the risk of civilian casualties. The military has opened a passage for civilians to leave the area around Nasser Hospital.

The IDF emphasizes that every effort has been made to prevent harm to civilians and avoid damage to medical equipment.

However, the Gaza Ministry of Health, which is linked to Hamas, alleges that significant damage has been inflicted on Nasser Hospital by the Israeli military, resulting in numerous casualties.

The operation at Nasser Hospital is ongoing.
