The IDF continues intense combat operations in the Khan Yunis area, as well as in the center and north of the Gaza Strip. Dozens of terrorists have been eliminated in the last 24 hours, and a significant amount of weapons has been discovered.
The 98th Division is continuing operations in the west of Khan Yunis, in the south of the Gaza Strip.
Fighters from the 7th Brigade discovered weapons and, over 24 hours, tank fire killed around 20 militants in the area of Khan Yunis. Air Force units were also involved in eliminating 15 terrorists and destroying a weapons depot. During raids in the city, IDF found different weapons, including rocket launchers and ammunition.
Commando units continue to operate in Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis and the surrounding areas. Over the past 24 hours, several terrorists have been eliminated, safes have been discovered and opened, and weapons belonging to Hamas have been confiscated.
In the central part of the sector, fighters from the Nahal Brigade have eliminated over ten terrorists in the past 24 hours. In some cases, the Air Force was utilized to neutralize militants.
