IDF strikes on targets in north, center, and south of Strip on night of February 18
On the night of February 18, the Israel Defense Forces continued its ground offensive in the Gaza Strip. Information about the military actions was only provided by sources in Gaza.
The IDF struck targets in the north, center, and south of the Strip. Ground forces, artillery, the Air Force, and the Navy were involved.
Hamas-led Gaza Ministry of Health reported three fatalities from an IDF strike on the Hamad family house in the Az-Zawayda area in the center of the Gaza Strip and seven fatalities with several injuries from an IDF strike on the Al-Afifi family house in the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood in Gaza City. There were also reports of casualties in Rafah, in the south of the sector, where the house of the Ash-Shaer family was targeted.
IDF also fired at the areas south of Khan Yunis. Shelling and a powerful explosion were reported in Khan Yunis in the south of the Strip.
In Rafah the IDF targeted eastern suburbs, while the IDF Navy fired at targets on the coast. The Air Force conducted precision strikes on targets in the city center.
The IDF Air Force struck a house in Deir al-Balah, in the center of the Strip.
In the north of the sector, the IDF Air Force targeted a site in the Tel al-Zaatar area and other targets in Jabalia.
The IDF has not commented on the military actions in Gaza on February 18 yet.
