IDF operations Judea and Samaria on February 19

The IDF is continuing its operations in Judea and Samaria to prevent new terrorist attacks and to detain or neutralize members of terrorist organizations.

According to Palestinian Authority sources, on the night of February 19, the Israeli military conducted operations in various areas:

  • Nablus (specifically in the Rafidiya area)
  • Hebron and its vicinity (Al-Fawar)
  • Qabatiya (located south of Jenin)
  • Ramallah (in the Al-Masyaf area) and nearby (Bayt Rim and Qubar)
  • Qalqilya (including the areas of Kfar Saba and Nazzal) and its vicinity (Hajj and Kafr Qaddum)
  • Near Bethlehem (Beit Jala and Al-Arouj)
  • Also, at the Aqbat Jabr camp (south of Jericho).

The Israeli military reportedly detained approximately 25 suspects in Qabatiya alone. According to Palestinian reports, the total number of detainees is around 40.

Border police also conducted operations in the Jerusalem neighborhood of Jabel Mukaber.

Clashes and injuries were reported on the Palestinian side, but there are no reports of casualties among the Israeli military in Judea and Samaria.

The exact number of terrorism suspects detained is still being clarified.

As of now, the IDF has not provided any official comment on the events in Judea and Samaria that occurred on the night of February 19th.
