The Gaza Ministry of Health, affiliated with Hamas, announced on February 21 that since the war began on October 7, 29,313 people have been killed in the Gaza Strip, with more than 69,300 sustaining injuries of varying severity.

According to the Hamas Ministry of Health, 118 people were killed and 163 were injured during the fighting in Gaza over the past 24 hours.

Due to the significant number of deaths, burials have often been conducted in mass graves.

The World Health Organization (WHO) has consistently emphasized its inability to verify the accuracy of the data on casualties provided by the Gaza Ministry of Health.

However, in January, the Lancet published an analysis suggesting that the Gaza Ministry of Health's data may closely reflect reality.

Based on reports from the IDF, numerous militants from terrorist groups are being killed daily in Gaza.

The IDF estimates that approximately 12,000 militants and their leaders have been killed in Gaza since the war began. Hamas acknowledges the deaths of around 6,000 of its fighters.
