IDF concludes operation against Hamas at Nasser Hospital; 200 detained

The Israel Defense Forces spokesperson has announced that the operation of the 98th Division and Shayetet 13 against the Hamas terrorist organization in the area of the Nasser Hospital in Khan Yunis was concluded.

According to the IDF statement, during the operation to clear the hospital of terrorists, the army discovered large quantities of weapons and other evidence indicating terrorist activity within the medical facility.

A total of 200 terrorists and suspects in terrorist activities were detained.

It was also reported that the IDF delivered food and medical equipment to the hospital during the operation. IDF also ensured hospital functioning, and soldiers installed an alternative generator.

Last week, boxes of sealed medicines were found in the hospital with the names of Israeli hostages on them. The drugs and vitamins were delivered to the hospital in cardboard boxes with the names of the abducted Israelis handwritten on them. Some medical supplies were found in the hospital's medicine storage. The recipient's name was written on each package. Medications intended for Tamar Metzger, Ada Sagi, and Yaffa Adar were found there (all three have already been released from captivity). Medications for 79-year-old Chaim Peri, whom terrorists in the Gaza Strip still hold, were also found. None of the medications were opened, indicating that the medicines did not reach the Israeli hostages.
