The IDF has announced that the Israeli Air Force had eliminated a senior Hezbollah commander, Hassan Hussein Salami, in an airstrike in southern Lebanon earlier today.

He was a member of Hezbollah's Nasr unit that attacked IDF troops and Israeli communities in northern Israel.

He was involved in the recent anti-tank missile attacks on Kiryat Shmona and the 769th Hiram Regional Brigade's base.
